About Annaliese Farber and Providence Farm Dressage

Providence Farm is proudly owned and operated by FEI dressage rider, Annaliese Farber. To establish the foundation for her training Annaliese spent eight years in Germany. In 1993 she became a Licensed Bereiter F.N, completing the program with Excellent and in 1996 became a Licensed Reitlehrer F.N. with good in Warendorf, Germany. While in Germany she worked with Siegfried Peilicke, Harold Cornellisen, Klaus Martin Rath, and Ulli and Bianca Kasselmann at PSI.

She returned to Canada in 1998 with a wealth of knowledge to train, coach and compete from basic to FEI levels. In 2003 she passed her Canadian Level III coaching exam and is a recipient of Dressage Canada's "Eight Award," (eight "8's" for riding in a season). In 2006 she piloted the Hanoverian stallion Harvard (Hohenstein x Cardinal) to Advanced Level Provincial Champion of Ontario and was Long-Listed for the Canadian Dressage team. Annaliese specializes in the training, development and competition of young dressage horses with great success.

Now partnered with Pangaea Farm’s young Oldenburg stallion Sandro’s Heir (Sandro Hit x Castro), they are an up and coming exciting combination to watch, Long-Listed on the Canadian Dressage Team in 2011 and 2012. They were also in the top 10 Advanced combo's in Canada and competed in the 2011 Pan-Am Trials finishing with a solid 5th place in the final I1 Freestyle in the trials. Annaliese consistently strives for self improvement and regularly works with top clinicians.

Providence Farm is comprised of a well ventilated and roomy eight stall training barn, tack room and two grooming areas. A bright and airy 20 x 40 indoor arena with excellent soft and oiled footing and a lovely 20 x 60 rubber/sand outdoor school. Providence Farm carefully harvests all of its own high quality hay from its many fields. There are many large individual turnout paddocks, all with even larger individually seeded pasture connections. An isolated high fenced, stallion paddock allows the boys the ability to graze and relax in their down time without “distraction.” Select lessons are offered to clients on Providence Farm’s imported upper level school master Layer. Canine company is welcomed!
