Dressage Training

Providence Farm accepts horses in for full training on the basis of availability. Annaliese will customize a training program to meet the specific needs of the individual horse and rider to help them to progress towards their desired goals. She takes an experienced and holistic approach to the development of a horse, maximizing its potential in daily work and competition. Annaliese has a classical and systematic approach to training. Her method, tested and true is patient, respectful of the individual, consistent and fair in setting goals and expectations. This has resulted in over 50 well-started horses under saddle in Europe and North America. She has successfully prepared Auction Candidates in Europe, presented Hanoverian mares for their Performance Tests, Dutch Warmblood mares for their Keurings, readied many youngsters for sale, placed two mares in the Lieutenant Governors Cup at the Royal Winter Fair while others have simply brought pleasure to their owners and breeders

Coaching and Clinics

Annaliese has an enormous amount of coaching experience and she teaches a wide array of clientele; from juniors, adult-armatures, event riders to competitive professionals. She can always be found ringside at horse shows encouraging on her students. She travels regularly for lessons and clinics and allows clients to frequently ship-in to Providence Farm. In 2008 she was recognized as Coach of the Year by the Ontario Equestrian Federation for her excellence as an instructor. In 2010, students won many show Championship titles and Suzanne Menzie finished Reserve Champion at the Ontario Dressage Championships.
